MICHAEL
CHEARNEY
celebrates his third anniversary exhibiting at
THE
GALLERY AT DSI
With
a show of LIVING COLOR
May thru September 2008
These
heavily textured and colorful acrylics are painted with
long stem roses as brushes. This unique style was born out
of the artist's desire to preserve the beauty of living roses
in full bloom. His "rose brushes" are often embedded in the
paintings themselves along with fallen rose petals and leaves
that fall to the canvas in the painting process. To see these
dramatic three-dimensional works visit the gallery at DSI
